MARK ROPER

managing2succeed was founded by Mark in 2013 with a single mission: to be a successful, creative and ground-breaking business consultancy for contractors working in the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors.

 

Through his work as Executive Director for the Civil Engineering Contractors Association in Yorkshire & the Humber, Mark has become known as a trusted commentator, critical friend and advisor for both clients and contractors alike.

 

Mark left CECA in September 2021 to further develop managing2succeed, and to bring his 40+ years of experience, enthusiasm and strategic thinking to a wider audience in the the most exciting sector in the UK.

Among his other interests, Mark is Chair of the Employer Advisory Forum at the Leeds College of Building University Centre; an occasional lecturer on Civil Engineering procedures at the University of Leeds; and is a Director of Give Construction a Try - a community interest company that works to promote careers in the construction industry in areas of deprivation in West Yorkshire.
